My First Life Drawing Session... oh noes

Spring Studio in NYC, yay. So. Decided to preserve the fruits of my first session. It was super fun and - ah, I'll ramble about it after the drawings. Here we go. Vine charcoal on newsprint.

Bad, but not bad for a noob?

How did I measured proportions

I fixated on Dat Foot

Expressive, or just incorrect? :c
My favorite - long pose

Now then. I was easily the youngest (and suckiest) person in the room. Most of the artists there have probably been drawing longer than I've been alive. >_> Anywho, they were really good. This one woman in front of me was fantastic, like, she was drawing things that I didn't even know were there. She was using some kind of sepia colored pastel or crayon or something. And the woman next to her was working in black, perhaps it was... I don't know what she was working in. It was smooth and polished like ink, but was probably pencil or pastel, maybe charcoal? Was great though. I was so distracted by their pretty art, I almost forgot to pay attention to the model! XD The model was great btw. Had interesting poses and cool tats (which I didn't even try to draw.)

But yah, good times. I think I'll go again tomorrow.

Oh, and finding the right trains and subways through Grand Central Terminal is a pain in the arse. But I'll get used to it. New York City transportation: the easiest way to feel like a cockroach!
